Study Queensland are a department within Trade and Investment Queensland. They encourage and assist international students to choose Queensland as their study destination.
We built this site in 2010. It has had many additions and changes since then and now boasts well over 120 pages, but was not responsive to mobile devices until this most recent project. Redevelopment was not viable yet, so we retrofitted it to adapt to tablets and smartphones.
New menus were designed that only appear on specific screen sizes, enabling touch screen users to navigate their way though 120+ pages without getting lost or missing out on information or features.
Mobile traffic now equates for more than 40% of Study Queensland’s traffic.
The site also integrates with 3rd party apps to find courses, jobs, scholarships, businesses, places to live and fun.
The recent Ultimate Gap Year international competition has boosted Facebook Likes to over 41,000 and its winners are enthusiastically promoting QLD with rich photo and video content.
