The Challenge
Australian Automotive, a subsidiary of AHG and Zupps, required an Intranet web system to control the sales, commissions and warranties for their suite of vehicle aftermarket products such as paint protection, window tinting and interior protection products across 35 automotive dealerships.
The system had to track complex discounting and commission structures that drive the core of their business. Other requirements included multi-layered security access, dynamic PDF generation and reporting features.
The Solution
The core of the application required strict security access rules to deliver a personalised view of data and actions unique to each user. The sales team can add orders with ease and print PDF warranty sheets for the customer for each sale. Head office can also track the sales process as each day unfolds in addition to profits reporting, sales consultant performance and product performance monitoring.
Results
Providing the management team access to up-to-the-minute, meaningful reports has allowed Australian Automotive to expand on its’ success and grow throughout the country.
The accounts department love the ability to easily track and pay commissions at the end of each month in a matter of seconds. Stage 2 of the project has added a ‘claims’ component to the system.
