PROJECT: Custom battery monitoring software

The Challenge

Create an interface to monitor strings of up to 48 batteries over a 10-year period. Now that’s a lot of data! The interface was to include powerful graphing to monitor the complex data of the battery string.
And, it all had to fit on a 100k device the size of your hand.

The Solution

Working with a talented internal team of engineers from Century Batteries, our team stepped into the world of Dynamic C and Flash memory to serve a visual layer that instantly gave meaning to thousands of pieces of battery data. A truly bespoke solution was needed due to the restrictions of file size, memory allocation and limited data connections.

Results

Century Batteries now have an impressive management interface, graphing and monitoring solution that can now be used across a range of remote battery facilities right across the country.
