PROJECT: Word Of Mouth Forum – WOMF
The Challenge
To build a global social networking site that allowed users to comment on local products and services – Word of Mouth Forum (WOMF). The site needed to be launched rapidly throughout the western world. Each region is to manage its own content and finances.
The Solution
We developed a central code-base that allows a new region to be launched in minutes. Each region can manage its own users, content, advertising and finances through a powerful administration area.
Results
WOMF is launched throughout the USA, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa, where it is well on the way to becoming a household name. The site handles between 40,000 – 60,000 unique users at any one time, running on several server stacks located around the globe that KND manage and love!
